Dry Stimulation Mixes for Immune Functional Assays. Phorbol-Myristate-acetate (PMA) and Ionomycin are broad cellular activators of human leukocytes. A mix of these 2 compounds strongly activates leukocytes, hence it can serve e.g. : As a positive control in leukocyte (ligand-specific) functional assays or as a nonspecific activator in leukocyte functional subtyping experiments (e.g. for inducing NET formation and NADPH -oxidase activity in Neutrophils).
