Biomek FX^P Positive Positioning ALP

Positive placement Automated Labware Positioner (ALP) and Controller Area Network (CAN) communications. Provides automated clamping and positioning of 1,536-well plates for access by the Biomek 384-Channel Pipettors. The plates are clamped by a solenoid for reliable pipetting operations. The clamp is relaxed when not in use, reducing potential heat build-up. Multiple positive positioning ALPs may be integrated onto the Biomek FXp work area as needed.
