What is the correlation curve?

Дозирование жидкости в стеклянные пробирки

The correlation curve in a dynamic light scattering (DLS) experiment is the measured data including all the information regarding the diffusion of particles within the sample. By applying the correlation curve to an exponential function, the diffusion coefficient (D) can be determined leading to the calculation of the hydrodynamic diameter. For polydisperse samples, the correlation curve will be a sum of exponential decays.
