Greg’s Danaher career spans more than 25 years in the life science research and drug discovery markets. Before joining Beckman Coulter Life Sciences in 2019, Greg served as President of Molecular Devices, where, during his four-year leadership tenure, he significantly accelerated growth, drove operating margin expansion and led the acquisition and integration of IDBS and FortéBio.
Prior to his appointment as President of Molecular Devices, Greg served as the company’s Vice President & General Manager of Global Commercial Operations (2013 – 2015) and Vice President of Western Markets Commercial Operations (2010-2012). He also held Molecular Devices’ sales and service leadership positions in the Americas (2007 – 2010) and Emerging Markets (2006 – 2007).
Greg holds a bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of Puget Sound, graduating Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa.
Vice President, Human Resources
Casey Garamoni, Vice President, Human Resources & Communication, joined Beckman Coulter Life Sciences in 2020. She is responsible for leading the HR function, including the Global HR Strategy for supporting business growth, engaging and developing associates, and attracting and acquiring new talent.
Casey has more than 12 years of experience in Human Resources. She came to Beckman Coulter Life Sciences from IDT, where she spent two years as VP of Human Resources. At IDT, Casey was responsible for the strategy and integration of Danaher HR processes and tools such as talent and organizational processes, leadership development, associate engagement, diversity and inclusion and cultivated the DBS culture.
Prior to joining IDT, Casey started her Danaher journey in 2012 as HR Manager with Videojet and progressed into Talent Management for Videojet and Product Identification. While there, she was responsible for creating talent development and movement strategies to support Danaher’s business objectives. Previously, Casey worked for Dow Chemical Company for more than five years in various progressive roles with mergers and acquisition, workforce planning and generalists’ functions.
Casey earned a B.S., degree in Pre-Law and Management and a M.S., in Human Resources Management from Purdue University Krannert School of Management.
Vice President & General Counsel
Adam Mandelbaum, Vice President and General Counsel, joined Beckman Coulter Life Sciences in 2018. He is responsible for leading and managing a proactive and strategic legal department that drives growth, innovation and compliance.
Adam came to Beckman Coulter from Pall Corporation, where he most recently served as Assistant General Counsel. Adam has 20 years of legal experience, including previous general counsel roles at Steve & Barry's and Nu Horizons Electronics.
Adam holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Anthropology from Stony Brook University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
Vice President of Global Service
Nicolas Cindric, Vice President of Global Service joined Beckman Coulter Life Sciences in 2017. He is responsible for leading the Global Service organization.
Nicolas has an extensive multinational service background, including wide-ranging experience driving service growth, strategic market development, continuous improvement and change management.
Prior to joining Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, Nicolas held multiple VP positions with Schneider Electric, culminating with his role as Vice President, Commercial Field Service – Americas. In that capacity, he was responsible for North America and Latin America, which encompassed more than 1,500 direct/indirect service associates in a $1B service organization.
Prior to his time at Schneider Electric, Nicolas held senior-level service positions at American Power Conversion, MGE UPS Systems and Hewlett-Packard.
Nicolas holds a Master’s of Business, Management, Economics and Project Management from UPMF Business School in Grenoble, France.
Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer
Michelle Caron came to Beckman Coulter Life Sciences from Pall, another Danaher operating company, where she was the Group Financial Officer supporting three Business Units: Food & Beverage, Laboratory and Medical. Prior to Pall, she served as CFO at Phenomenex.
Michelle joined Danaher in 2010 as the Senior Director of Finance for Sciex, where she worked on the post-acquisition integration, which included the conversion of the SAP system and the implementation of Oracle in the Americas. Prior to Danaher, she worked at Philips Healthcare and Stryker Biotech in finance and controller roles.
Michelle is a CPA, and holds an MBA from Southern Connecticut State University, and a BSc in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University.
Vice President, Sales
Giles Snare, Vice President of Sales, joined Beckman Coulter Life Sciences in 2013. He is responsible for the commercial organizations in developed and high-growth markets.
Giles has more than 10 years of experience managing complex, multi-level global organizations. Prior to his current role, Giles was the Director, European Customer Operations, for Beckman Coulter Life Sciences. As Director, he effectively drove the company’s multi-country Sales Department reorganization, helped deploy new Salesforce.com-based funnel management, and successfully led share gains in Europe throughout the transition period.
He joined the company from Sigma Aldrich and Bioquell PLC, where he served as EMEA Sales Manager, and Director, Head of Life Sciences, respectively. Previously, he spent more than 10 years with Millipore in commercial roles based in the EU and the United States.
Giles has a bachelor’s degree (Hons.) in Chemistry from the University of Surrey, Guildford, UK.
Vice President, Research & Development
Tim Kerr, Vice President of Research and Development, joined Beckman Coulter Life Sciences in 2006. He is responsible for the design and development of new products.
Prior to his current role, Tim was the Business Unit manager at Hach’s Flow and Sampling business. He later served as the VP of Product Development at Hach, focusing on increasing R&D effectiveness, and reducing cycle times through improvements in processes and organizational capability.
Tim has more than 35 years of experience in R&D, spanning the fields of satellite communications, semiconductor capital equipment, water quality and life sciences. Prior to joining Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, Tim held a number of positions at Advanced Energy Industries, ranging from design engineer to SVP of Engineering and BU GM.
He started his career at Hughes Aircraft Company, where he was involved in designing an atomic clock for an early GPS system, and a communications amplifier for a direct broadcast television satellite.
Tim holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University and the University of Southern California, respectively.
Vice President and General Manager, Biotechnology Business Unit
With a career spanning nearly two decades at Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, Jason Lanie will now be responsible for the general management and leadership of the Biotechnology business unit.
Jason joined the company in 2002 as a Research and Development Mechanical Engineer for the liquid handling product line. He was later promoted to Engineering Supervisor before he transitioned into global technical support leadership. Lanie became the first commercial Danaher Business Systems Leader (DBSL) supporting sales and marketing, shortly after Danaher acquired Beckman Coulter. Finally, he joined the Marketing organization in 2015, where he most recently served as Vice President of Global Marketing.
Under his leadership, the marketing organization grew to be a critical driver of the commercial success, delivering value through digital channels, customer visibility, analytics, and campaign execution. He also led the integration of Labcyte and EDC Biosystems when the companies were acquired in 2019. Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a master’s degree in Engineering Management from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, along with an MBA from Butler University.
Vice President of Global Marketing
A six-year veteran of Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, Kiley Simmons is responsible for the continued evolution of the company’s marketing organization and processes. Most recently, she served as a Director of Global Commercial Marketing. In that role, Kiley provided commercial marketing direction worldwide, developed and executed global marketing campaigns, and drove growth through demand generation across the company. She also serves as Chair for the Danaher Women & Friends Associate Resource Group.
Kiley joined the company in 2015 as the Global Commercial Marketing Manager focused on Automation Drug Discovery. Prior to her growing career at Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, she held Global Marketing Communications Manager and Specialist roles with ENVIGO and Avery Dennison. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Kent State University.
Vice President and General Manager, Flow Cytometry Business Unit
Mario Koksch, Vice President of the Flow Cytometry business unit, joined Beckman Coulter Life Sciences in 2000. He is responsible for the flow cytometry business and has day-to-day responsibility for strategic marketing, business growth, and development of the company’s diversified clinical and research portfolio of flow cytometry hardware, software, reagents and assays. He also oversees the company’s manufacturing centers in Marseille, Bangalore and Suzhou.
Mario has more than 20 years of experience working in the flow cytometry field. He has held multiple roles at Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, including Director, Strategic Marketing for the Flow Business Center in Miami, product manager for flow cytometry in Germany, and various positions in marketing and product management for flow cytometry and hematology.
Prior to joining Beckman, he led the Center of Hemophilia and Coagulation Disorders at the University Medical Center Leipzig/Germany. By training, Mario is a medical doctor and specialist in internal medicine, with additional training in coagulation and intensive care medicine. He founded a flow research laboratory at Leipzig University and led that lab for seven years. He has also published 26 articles in peer-reviewed journals, and submitted two patent applications.
Mario has a Ph.D. and medical degree from Leipzig University (Germany), and a Marketing M.B.A. from the University of Applied Science Koblenz-Remagen (Germany).
Vice President, Quality and Regulatory Affairs
Nancy Nadler, Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Affairs, joined Beckman Coulter in 1995. She is responsible for leading the global quality and regulatory affairs department, with a strong focus on compliance and growth-enabling strategies.
Nancy has more than 24 years of experience in the medical device industry, with the majority of her career spent in Quality and Regulatory Affairs roles. She has been instrumental in building a strong partnership with the FDA, leveraging our internal regulatory, clinical, biostatistics and scientific strengths to develop effective quality and regulatory strategies that further advance the business.
Prior to moving into Quality and Regulatory Affairs, Nancy held positions of increasing responsibility in Manufacturing Operations and Research & Development. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Florida Atlantic University.
Vice President, Strategy and Innovation
Sidharth Kapileshwar, Vice President of Strategy and Innovation, joined Beckman Coulter Life Sciences in May 2020. He is responsible for leading our strategic planning process, driving inorganic growth through open innovation, performing internal business case assessments, and partnering with the Life Science Platform and Danaher to align, evaluate and deliver on our inorganic growth priorities.
Sidharth has over 18 years of experience leading growth and innovation through strategy development, new product development, M&A, and partnerships. He joined Beckman Coulter from Halma plc, a global group of life-saving technology companies, where he led Corporate Development and M&A. Previously, he was the Director of Strategic Planning and Business Development at Danaher where he spent 7 years leading Strategic Planning and M&A for the Life Sciences Platform. Prior to that he spent 7 years at GE Healthcare in various software product development roles.
Sidharth earned a Bachelor of Technology degree in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in Mumbai, India, a Master of Science in Engineering from Ohio State University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with Honors, from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Vice President, Global Danaher Business System (DBS)
Arvind Chandrasekaran, Vice President, Global Danaher Business System, returned to Beckman Coulter Life Sciences in 2020. He is responsible for creating and supporting our DBS priorities aligned with BEC LS’ Strategy and Policy Deployment initiatives. Arvind is responsible for building a DBS culture centered around continuous improvement, coaching and training on the DBS tools, enhancing our capabilities in DBS Certified Practitioners, expanding our DBS talent funnel and supporting sustainment of our comprehensive Kaizen and PSP events.
Arvind has more than 24 years of experience in engineering, operations, service and customer service.
Arvind came to BEC LS from Pall where he spent eighteen months as the Global DBS Leader, Growth & Special Projects. In this role, he supported key acquisition and divestiture projects. Additionally, he supported deploying DBS maturity assessments, DBS Holistic View of Commercial roll-out and Customer Insight initiatives. Arvind is also a steering committee meeting member of the Asian Descent + Friends Associate Resource Group (ARG). Prior to Pall Corporation, Arvind spent more than 18 years at BEC LS in manufacturing and DBSL leadership roles in engineering, service, customer service and operations.
Arvind earned a BS in Industrial Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy, Chennai, India.
