TCR Vβ5.2 Antibodies

TCR Vβ5.2 is also called TCRBV5S2. Vβ5 is a multimembered subfamily of the T cell receptor. Vβ5.2 is expressed by 0.5% to 1.5% (mean 0.8%) of peripheral CD3+ cells in normal blood. This sequence is also referred to as TRBV5-6 (based on the IMGT gene nomenclature).


Clone: 36213 Isotype: IgG1 Mouse

The 36213 antibody recognizes the PL25 sequence. Vβ5.1 (HBP51 sequence) and Vβ5.3 (IGRb08 sequence) are not recognized. Recognition of other members of the Vβ5 subfamily has not been found, but cannot be formally excluded.
