Biomek Tips P1000 Span-8 Sterile

These P1000 pre-sterile tips are created for use with the Biomek NX, NXp, FX and FXp automation systems with Span-8 pods. They’re clear and non-conductive so you can more easily assess aspirated sample volumes, with visual confirmation and added confidence during method development. Sample preparation times can be reduced by transferring a full 1 mL of reagent in a single pipetting action without splitting volumes. Applications include: library construction for next generation sequencing sample prep with a viscous bead mixture; stem cell research to reduce the inadvertent cell lysis of large cell-aggregates of embryoid bodies; nucleic acid preparation to minimize DNA shearing; cellular applications where pipetting of viscous solutions, such as glycerol solution, is commonly used; bio-fuels/bio-energy research where cellulose slurries may clog standard tips; and crop research/seed development where samples may contain large particulates.
