The CD62E antigen, also called LECAM-2, E-selectin or ELAM-1, is a 115 kDa molecule which mediates neutrophil, eosinophil and monocyte adhesion to vascular endothelium. CD62E antigen is expressed by activated endothelial cells. Sialyl Lewis X (CD15s) acts as a ligand for CD62E.
