foundation of the Biomek® family of liquid handlers, the Biomek Software.
It is our Software that differentiates us from other providers of
automated liquid handling and enables you, the user, to convert any manual assay

- Newport Tables on Wheels. Beckman Coulter Europe has come up with a novel solution for Core System customers who need to swap devices between systems.

- The Flexdrop* 4 Dispenser from PerkinElmer* on Core System. The FlexDrop 4 Dispenser is a 96-, 384-, and 1536-well microplate dispenser manufactured by PerkinElmer. This gives us the capability to dispense four different reagents to a plate without the purging and priming commonly done.

- Biomek FX-based Core System Solution for
Cell-based Assay Screening of a Compound Library in a Core Lab Facility. To
highlight the "plug and play" nature of this Biomek FX-based core
system, Noel Ruppert shares why a customer installed two microplate readers
to cover the diversity of detection modes needed for all cell-based assays
run on the system. more
- Dual Bridge Multi-Channel Biomek FX Workstation. A customer needed a
Biomek FX workstation that could perform compound screens, plate
reformatting, serial dilutions and cell-based assays. Noel Ruppert describes a SAMI® Workstation EX system that was

Beckman Coulter offers several courses in North America
to help you learn to use your Biomek liquid handlers and
Integrated Systems. Biomek classroom courses are offered
in four Beckman Coulter training facilities: Fullerton,
Calif., Hoffman Estates, Ill., Indianapolis, Ind. and Somerset, N.J. If you
cannot attend a two-day course but need to learn how to
use variables, work lists, or the Span-8's Transfer from
File function, eLab Live On-line can provide the
classroom quality with the convenience of the
Internet.
