Biomek® FX System Configuration:
- Biomek® FX software version 2.0 and up
- Hybrid System Multichannel/Span 8
Method: iLAP_Biomek_FX.exe (230KB)
To install the Purification of Recombinant Histidine-tagged Proteins methods on the Biomek FX:
- Download the self-extracting file containing the method.
- Double click the file to extract.
- Chose a directory to copy the files.
- Open the Biomek software program.
- To create a new project, go to the Project menu and select New Project.
- Enter iLAP as the new name.
- To import information such as labware definitions, liquid type, and pipetting templates, go to the Project menu and select Import Project.
- Navigate to the directory where the extracted files are saved.
- Select iLAP.imp and click Open.
- To import the method, go to the File menu and choose Import.
- Navigate to the directory where the extracted files are saved.
- Select iLAP_BCA_Quantification.bmf and iLAP_Elution_Laemmli.bmf and click Open.
- Choose Yes when asked if you wish to import the methods into the current project.
