Many of the processes occurring downstream of PCR* require the separation of free or spent reaction components such as nucleotides, primers and buffers from the PCR product; the sheer volume of which can quickly overwhelm any laboratory utilizing manual methods. Thus, there is a strong need for high throughput methods of PCR product purification. To address these needs we present here a fully automated BioWorks™ method of PCR product purification on the Biomek 2000 utilizing the QIAGEN QIAquick 96 PCR Clean-up kit.

Features

  • Purified up to 96 PCR products in 30 minutes.
  • No need to modify method if using reaction volumes between 10 to 100µL.
  • Utilizes pattern to easily choose any number of samples up to 96.
