A Fully Automated Method for Purification of PCR* Products on the Biomek® 2000 Laboratory Workstation Utilizing the QIAGEN QIAquick* 96 PCR Clean-up KitTroy Cook, Jason Fawcett, Graham Threadgill, Ph.D., and Paul W. Diaz,
Ph.D. Many of the processes occurring downstream of PCR* require the separation of free or spent reaction components such as nucleotides, primers and buffers from the PCR product; the sheer volume of which can quickly overwhelm any laboratory utilizing manual methods. Thus, there is a strong need for high throughput methods of PCR product purification. To address these needs we present here a fully automated BioWorks™ method of PCR product purification on the Biomek 2000 utilizing the QIAGEN QIAquick 96 PCR Clean-up kit. Features
