Biomek® FX System Configuration:

• Biomek® FX software version 2.0 and up
• Multichannel Hybrid (96 Mandrel 200 µl Head)

Method: Extract_N_AmpTissue_FX.zip (238KB)

To install the Tissue PCR Kits for Isolating DNA methods on the Biomek FX:

• Open the Biomek software program.
• To create a new project, go to the Project menu and select New Project.
• Enter Extract_N_Amp Tissue as the new name.
• To import information such as labware definitions, liquid type, and pipetting templates, go to the Project menu and select Import Project.
• Navigate to the directory where the extracted files are saved.
• Select Extract-N-Amp_Tissue.imp and click Open.
• To import the method, go to the File menu and choose Import.
• Navigate to the directory where the extracted files are saved.
• Select Extract-N-Amp_Tissue_PCRSetup.bmf, PCR_Setup (no controls).bmf, and PCR_Setup (with controls).bmf and click Open.
• Choose Yes when asked if you wish to import the methods into the current project.
