Note: These methods have been verified to work by the Beckman Coulter Applications Team.
They are provided to you as a recommended template to start to develop methods that meet
your particular needs.


Biomek Software v3.x or higher.

Pre-PCR SNPstream methods: Pre-PCR.zip (24 KB)
Post-PCR SNPstream methods: Post-PCR.zip (113 KB)

To install the SNPstream methods on the GenomeLab™ SNPstream® Genotyping System:

  • Download the self-extracting archive containing the methods and import files.
  • Double-click the file to extract.
  • Choose a directory to copy the files.
  • Open the Biomek Software program.
  • To import the method, go to the File menu and choose Import.
  • Navigate to the directory where the extract files are located.
  • Select the appropriate file that appears in the Import Method Window and click Open.

If labware and deck definition are needed follow the additional steps below:



- To import labware:

  • To import the labware associated with that method go to the Project menu and select Import Project.

  • Navigate to the directory where the extracted files are located.
  • Select the appropriate file that appears in the Import Project Window and click Open.
- To import the deck:
  • To import the deck associated with that method, go to the Instrument menu and select Import/Export Utility.
  • Click Open.
  • Navigate to the directory where the extracted files are located.
  • Select the appropriate file that appears in the Open Import File Window and click Open.
    Note: This will be the same file that was used to import the labware into the project folder.
  • In the Import File Window select the deck to be imported.
  • Click Import to import the deck.
