Method Control OCX Software for Biomek® FX Software v2.x

This installation file installs the method control OCX for the Biomek FX software. The OCX allows you to use third-party software development tools to write programs which can load and run Biomek FX methods. This is very useful for creating custom runtime user interfaces, more tightly integrating with LIMS, or providing an automated response to runtime errors.

Requires Biomek FX software version 2.0 to 2.5e. Not for use with Biomek software 3.0 or higher.

*Note: This software is not supported and is provided as a courtesy only. The Biomek FX software must be installed before the OCX, or it will not install or run properly.  To purchase the Biomek FX System Software please contact your local Beckman Coulter sales representative.  If you do not know who your representative is you can contact us for the office phone number nearest you.

To install the OCX:

• Click on the link above to download the file. 
• Choose a destination directory to save the file. 
• Ensure that the Biomek FX software v2.0 or higher is installed.
• Double click the file to begin the installation. 
• Follow the onscreen instruction to complete the installation. 

To use the OCX:

• Read the instructions included with the installation.
• Review the sample programs included with the installation.
• Write a program with an OCX-compatible third-party software development tool to use the OCX.
