Beckman Coulter Flow Cytometry Products Available Through Premier

Beckman Coulter was recently awarded a sole-source agreement with Premier, the largest healthcare alliance in the United States, which will continue to make the company's flow cytometry instruments available through the healthcare purchasing network.

With this latest agreement, Premier's 1,700 member hospitals continue to have access to Beckman Coulter's complete range of flow cytometry systems and supplies, which join the core lab products—automation, general chemistry, immunoassay, integrated workcells, hemostasis and hematology products—that are currently available through Premier.

Under the terms of the three-year sole-source agreement, Beckman Coulter will continue to supply Premier members with flow cytometry instruments and reagents such as the Cytomics FC 500 systems, the Coulter® PrepPlus™ series of sample preparation systems and the Cellular Analysis catalog of reagents, which consists of 3,200 products featuring 1,800 nonhuman antibodies and a unique menu of MHC tetramers for T-Cell research.

In addition, Premier members will continue to access the Core Lab contracts for hundreds of other Beckman Coulter tests and instruments, such as the Power Processor and Coulter® LH 1500 automation systems, the UniCel® DxI 800 Immunoassay System, the UniCel DxC 600i integrated workcell and the ACL TOP™ coagulation, Coulter® LH 780 hematology and UniCel DxC 600 and DxC 800 chemistry analyzers.
