Learn. Change. Grow.
Beckman Coulter 2006 Symposia Series Helps Laboratorians Adapt to Changing Healthcare Industry

It’s true that the only thing constant in the healthcare industry is change. And this fact makes keeping up-to-date on the latest trends, opportunities and technologies more important than ever.

To help in your educational journey, Beckman Coulter has planned a seventh year of free seminars to inform lab administrators, pathologists and other healthcare professionals the newest strategies for surviving—even thriving—amidst today’s multitude of market changes.

The Beckman Coulter 2006 Symposia, which include seminars in five cities across the United States, zero in on topics that can help attendees increase efficiency and profitability, discover innovative approaches to disease management and learn about the newest laboratory technologies.

Internationally respected scientists and healthcare professionals conduct the presentations, which contain the latest innovations in clinical diagnostics. Plus, this year’s events include specific sessions on such topics as cardiac markers, cytokines, diabetes, cellular analysis autovalidation and thromophilia, as well as a leukemia/lymphoma case study for flow cytometry.

Symposia attendees also have the opportunity to see demonstrations of Beckman Coulter’s newest integrated chemistry and immunoassay workstation—the UniCel® DxC 600i Synchron® Access® clinical system. This state-of-the-art system expands the company’s UniCel family of instruments and introduces the first UniCel system that performs both chemistry and immunoassay testing simultaneously from a single point of sample entry. The DxC 600i enables clinical laboratories to enjoy an on-board capacity of 89 reagents and a menu of more than 150 different tests, ranging from cardiac and tumor markers to tests for renal function, diabetes and more.

Although two seminars have already passed, there are still three more learning opportunities on the horizon, including an event on August 3 in Dallas, Texas; August 30 in Anaheim, California; and on October 26 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

All Beckman Coulter Symposia attendees can earn one contact hour of P.A.C.E. credit for each lecture session they attend—offering a convenient way to meet their continuing education goals. Furthermore, these seminars are a great way to network with industry peers—and learn additional strategies for thriving in a dynamic marketplace.

While there is no cost to attend the Beckman Coulter Symposia 2006, registration is required. Click here, to obtain a registration form, an agenda for each symposium and other information.

Join the thousands of healthcare professionals who have benefited from the unique education and expertise only Beckman Coulter can deliver.
