System Software
“User-Friendly” software and “Ready-to-Go” configurations; this spectrophotometer makes everything from basic tests to complex analyses fast and easy

Simple and Intuitive User Interface
The DU 800 UV/Visible Spectrophotometer offers a simple and intuitive user interface, which makes it easy to perform complex tasks as well as simple readings. The operator has quick access to key system functions, the status of system method parameters is always clearly visible, and the basic user environment is identical for each application.

Flexibility and Ease-of-Use
To make instrument operation convenient, simple, and secure, the system provides a number of additional capabilities for regular users and the administrator.
- RediRead™ and RediScan™ – these modes can be used while the instrument is set up for another analysis without disturbing it. The user can then return to the previous assay window.
- Cell Matching – can be used for up to three wavelength to correct for minor differences in multiple cells (recommended when using microcells).
- User Options – each user can customize the system to meet his/her own preferences.
- Data Export – data can be exported to a CSV (Comma-Separated Values) format for further analysis with external software (e.g.; Microsoft Excel).
|
- User Account Manager – to setup and maintain user accounts.
- System Setup – to set all system default parameters, including the target root directory on a local or network drive.
- Source Scheduler – both the visible and the UV lamp can be turned on and off independently at specified times for each day.
- Performance Validation Scheduler – automatically warms up the system and then performs the specified test(s) at a given date and time.
