This ALP is designed for positioning one (1) standard 96 or 384 well microtiter plate.

A single-position ALP for positioning of one (1) standard 96 and/or 384 well microtiter plates as singles or in stacks with spacing to support Biomek FX gripper and/or robotic manipulation. The single position ALP can be placed in any open position. The indented sides of the ALP accomodate the Biomek Gripper Tool and robotic manipulation used with specific protocols on the Biomek FX.

A three-position ALP for positioning of three (3) standard 96 and/or 384 well microtiter plates as singles or in stacks with spacing to support Biomek FX gripper and/or robotic manipulation. The three-position ALP can be placed in any column in the work area with the front three rows open.

A five-position ALP for positioning of five (5) standard 96 and/or 384 well microtiter plates or reservoirs. The five-position ALP DOES NOT support Biomek FX gripper and/or robotic manipulation, and is ideally used to locate reagents, etc. that do not require re- location. The five-position ALP can be placed in any column in the work area with all rows open.

A twelve-position ALP for positioning of twelve (12) standard 96 and/or 384 well microtiter plates as singles or in stacks with spacing to support Biomek FX gripper manipulation. The sixteen-position covers the entire middle work area excluding the outer columns.

A sixteen-position ALP for positioning of sixteen (16) standard 96 and/or 384 well microtiter plates as singles or in stacks with spacing to support Biomek FX gripper manipulation. The sixteen-position covers the entire middle work area excluding the outer columns.

The waste ALP chute is for the disposal of full or empty tip racks and microtiter plates from the work area of the Biomek FX. The removal of the chute and the addition of the disposal bags will provide of the disposal of 7 heads of tips without their racks into the waste disposal bag. ALP requires a single position in the outer columns in rows 2 or 3 of the Biomek FX work area.

The waste ALP chute is for the disposal of the Span-8 pipettor. The chute can be removed and replaced with a disposal bag. The waste ALP requires a single position in the outer columns in rows 2 or 3 of the Biomek FX work area.

This ALP is designed for use with the vacuum filtration systems and is the support ALP for the vacuum manifold. Placement of this ALP should allow space for gripper access and tubing This ALP should be ordered in conjunction with the SPE ALP Collar platform (P/N 719229).

This ALP is designed for use with the vacuum filtration systems and is the location for Filtration collars during assembly, disassembly, and reassembly. This ALP is typically positioned adjacent to the SPE ALP Platform to afford maximum efficiency of motion. This ALP should be ordered in conjunction with the SPE ALP platform (P/N 717632)

This allows more labware to be placed on the work surface allowing the Biomek FX to perform simultaneous processes, such as incubations, vacuum filtration and liquid transfer. Used in conjunction with Promega 12-plate method. Requires position on the right outer column of Biomek FX

The 2x1 SPE ALP combines the vacuum manifold location and collar holder positions into a single ALP location on the deck. This allows more labware to be placed on the work surface allowing the Biomek FX to perform simultaneous processes, such as incubations, vacuum filtration and liquid transfer. Used in conjunction with Promega 12-plate method. Requires position on the left outer column of Biomek FX.

A three-position ALP for positioning of three (3) standard Biomek Test Tube Racks: Test Tube Rack - 160, 10 mm Tubes (P/N 609046), Test Tube Rack - 128, 12 mm Tubes (P/N 609050), or Test Tube Rack - 96, 13 mm Tubes (P/N 609051). The three-position ALP can be placed in any column in the work area.

A two-position ALP for positioning of two (2) standard Biomek Test Tube Racks: Test Tube Rack - 160, 10 mm Tubes (P/N 609046), Test Tube Rack - 128, 12 mm Tubes (P/N 609050), or Test Tube Rack - 96, 13 mm Tubes (P/N 609051). The two-position ALP can be placed in any column in the work area. It can also be placed on an outer column along with the Span-8 Waste ALP.

24-Position Tube Rack fits onto Biomek FX Standard ALP to holds various-sized polystyrene, polypropylene, and polyallomer tubes, Microfuge® Tubes and cryovials. To ensure proper tube fit, inserts must be used. Due to variations among manufacturers, tubes and cryovials should be measured prior to selecting an insert. Measure one inch from the tube bottom and select the insert with the appropriate diameter, or check for size using inserts from your starter kit

Test Tube Racks fit onto Biomek FX 2-position or 3-position ALPs, P/N 719337 or 719672 respectively.
