Safety Light Curtain

The active safety light curtain prevents users from entering into the liquid handler work area while the unit is in operation. The side light curtains are intended to be an optional component to replace the Plexiglas side shields. The side light curtains are particularly useful for side access to the FX deck by robotic systems such as the Zymark Twister or the Hudson Plate Crane, which only cross the light curtain field intermittently. They are not intended for use with static devices that would remain over the light curtain such as a Stacker Carousel Shuttle. For these applications, the Plexiglas side shields are required.
