ProteomeLab IgY Proteome Partitioning Systems
The ProteomeLab Partitioning Systems and Chemistries provide advanced sample preparation for the isolation and analysis of protein-based biomarkers from biofluid proteomes, such as plasma, serum, CSF, and urine. At the heart of this new product offering is the ProteomeLab IgY-12 Proteome Partitioning Chemistry. Based on avian-generated antibodies bound to inert beads, ProteomeLab IgY-12 liquid chromatography and spin columns selectively partition the 12 most abundant proteins—up to 96 percent of the protein mass—from human/primate serum or plasma. The IgY-R7 chemistry has been optimized for rodents to effectively remove 7 highly abundant proteins from rat serum or plasma. The enriched proteome includes medium- and low-abundance proteins, is the primary target for biomarker discovery. This material can then be collected and further fractionated with the Beckman Coulter ProteomeLab PF 2D Protein Fractionation System.

ProteomeLab IgY Spin Column Proteome Partitioning Solution

Combining the innovative IgY Chemistry with Beckman Coulter's proven separation technologies provides a convenient solution to simplify and enrich a plasma, serum, or CSF proteome. The IgY-12 spin column solution is optimized to process 10 µL of human/primate serum or plasma per spin column cycle. The IgY-R7 spin column is optimized for rodents and has the capacity to process 10 µL mouse or 15 µL rat serum/plasma per spin column cycle.
Includes: ProteomeLab SP Sample Preparation System and ProteomeLab IgY-12 or IgY-R7 SC Proteome Partitioning Chemistry.

The ProteomeLab IgY High-Capacity Proteome Partitioning Solutions are designed as add-on systems to the ProteomeLab PF 2D System.
The IgY LC10 chemistry provides the capacity to enrich medium to low abundance proteins. The ProteomeLab IgY-12 and IgY-R7 columns are optimized to process 250 µL of human and 200 µL of rodent plasma/serum, respectively, per column cycle.
