GenomeLab SNPStart Primer Extension Kit 

GenomeLab™ SNPStart Primer Extension Kit

GenomeLab SNPStart Primer Extension Kit for simplified single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) detection on the CEQ 8000/8800 Series and GeXP Genetic Analysis Systems. Based on single-based primer extension technology, SNPStart is validated and optimized for multiplexing up to 10 SNPs in a single tube. Ideal for low- to medium-throughput applications, this new kit provides a fast alternative to one-at-a-time four-color SNP detection. Updated software to support the new kit is included, available separately, or can be downloaded.

The single-based primer extension technology eliminates secondary steps such as ligation and enzymatic cleavage, for further simplicity and time savings. The SNPStart kit contains a master mix with four labeled terminators and the necessary enzyme and buffers.

GenomeLab Human STR Primer Kit 

GenomeLab Human STR Primer Kit

Intended use: Human DNA sample quality control and contamination control in research labs.

The kit contains a set of 12 primer pairs that will amplify specific loci in the human genome (eleven STR loci plus Amelogenin).

The STR loci are highly polymorphic permitting the user to determine the purity and quality of a specific DNA sample. The oligonucleotide primer pairs are contained in an amplification reaction buffer that will allow for co-amplification of all 12 loci in a single tube reaction. The kit contains reagent for 48 reactions.

Pre-developed STR Locus Tags for import into the Fragment Analysis Module for the Human STR Primer Kit are available for download.

The kit is for research use only and not for Forensic and not for Human Linkage Analysis.
