The innovative Biomek® NX Automation Workstation is an ingenious addition to the Biomek Continuum.
With its sophisticated Biomek software and flexible, open platform design, the Biomek NX offers the
ability to automate a variety of applications from beginning to end. Its open, tubular frame simplifies
integration with plate readers, washers, and storage devices in the back, left, and right side of the instrument.
The platform comes configured as either an NX Multichannel Pod with integrated gripper or NX Span-8 Pod
with independent gripper.

Biomek® Software - Software for programming and running all system activities for desired applications.
The Biomek® System Software is an-easy-to-use software program that directs all
instrument, and accessory functions. The software provides the ability to simply
and quickly create a method, review it, and then run it. Many functions related to
normal operation are intuitively provided. Tip loading, as an example, must be done for a
transfer to be accomplished. Simply configure the deck with the proper tips and the system
will load and unload tips when needed to perform the transfer. There is no need for
explicit control of tip loading and unloading. Similarly, by educating the system on the volume
of liquid in the labware, the level of that liquid can be tracked and used throughout the
method. User's Manual and Tutorials are included on the Software CD.
