pHRESH Electrodes with Flow-On-Demand for Highly Viscous and "Dirty"
Samples
Beckman Coulter pHRESH electrodes have a special renewable junction to give
stable, quick and accurate pH readings even when used with difficult or "dirty"
samples. Traditional combination electrodes have junctions that flow at an even
rate which provides excellent response with most samples. However, samples that
are highly viscous, dirty, or react with filling solutions can clog a junction
very quickly.
pHRESH electrodes have a junction that is renewed after each use, simply by
pressing the cap of the electrode and flushing the junction with filling
solution. Thus a "new" junction is assured each time a reading is taken, giving
fast and accurate readings with each sample. Available in epoxy or glass bodies
in standard size bodies.
pHRESH electrodes are ideal for use with "dirty" samples such as: soils,
sludge, slurries, and viscous solutions.
