DNA Synthesis Supplies: Quality and Convenience You Expect
Beckman Coulter's proven CED-phosphoramidite synthesis chemistry and packaging conveniences improve efficiencies and deliver higher yields. UltraFAST DNA Synthesis Technology reduces cleavage and deprotection time to just ten minutes and improves step-wise coupling efficiency. Phosphoramidite packaging includes activated molecular sieves to assure dryness and coupling efficiency. The cleavage and deprotection chemistry is provided in kits with syringes and vials that are compatible with Beckman Coulter reactor columns.
Quality and Convenience
Each reagent and phosphoramidite bottle is color-coded and clearly labeled to correspond directly with its position on the instrument. Augmented by dC-acetyl columns and amidites, Beckman Coulter's traditional CED-phosphoramidite chemistry significantly reduces the time it takes to acquire high-quality oligonucleotides.
- Economical Mono-Pak and Binary-Pak™ phosphoramidites include molecular sieves to assure dryness, and a minimum of four weeks life on the instrument.
- Single pore-size reactor columns used for both short and long oligonucleotides feature a zero dead volume design that minimizes reagent consumption.
- Convenient cleavage and deprotection kits include UltraFAST chemistry that cleaves and deprotects in just ten minutes.
The nomenclature for the phosphoramidites and their protecting groups is as follows: Bz - benzoyl, Ac - acetyl, iBu - isobutyrl. Bz protects adenosine and standard cytidine. Ac protects UltraFAST cytidine. iBu protects guanosine. Thymidine and Inosine do not have protecting groups.
