Computer and Software Requirements
The computer used by the laboratory to transmit and receive data to IQAP must have the following:
1. Microsoft® Windows® operating system
• Microsoft® Windows 98 or higher is required. The instrument computer cannot be used for eIQAP transmissions.
2. Microsoft® Internet Explorer
• Internet Explorer requires software version 5.5 of higher. The Software version can be checked by the following sequence: Internet Explorer > Help > About Internet Explorer
3. High speed internet connection
• A high speed internet connection is recommended. Dial-up modems may be too slow for transmission of data and/or reports
4. Adobe® Acrobat® Reader software
• Acrobat Reader is required to open and view reports. Acrobat Reader can be downloaded (free-of-charge) from the Reports page or the Resources page of the eIQAP program, or directly from: http://www.adobe.com
